Firefox tip: center-click cut and paste

[omit my marks of quotation]

1. type in the address bar: "about:config"
2. filter: "middlemouse.paste"
3. change value to: "true"
4. [restart Firefox]

This will allow you to paste the clipboard contents with a single middle-button click with your mouse.

Here are some amazing high-resolution photos of the sun, taken 1-31-08. You can almost see the 3 dimensional shape of the sun in these photos.
I was lucky enough in high school to be able to view the sun with my naked eye using a home-made high power telescope and UV filter over a period of 3 months. Its amazing how much the surface of the sun changes day to day.

gOS (linux distribution)

I've been playing with a new linux distribution, called gOS. It is based on Ubuntu, and shows a lot of potential. It is more of an entry-level operating system, meant for grandmas and students who dont want to have to worry too much about cost or the complexitys of the modern operating system. It uses the E17 interface, as apposed to gnome or kde, as most modern linux-based operating systems do.
